About Our Treatments

Cranial Sacral

A form of complementary alternative therapy focusing primarily on the concept of regulating the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (fluid that bathes and nourishes the brain and spinal cord). By using light touch (5grams of pressure) to a patient's skull, face, spine and pelvis the practitioner can manipulate these bones to relieve restrictions and assist the proper movement of the fluid to promote communication amongst the brain, spinal cord and nerves.

Reflexology
Is considered an Eastern modality where the body’s nerve ending are mapped on the hands, feet, ears and eyes. Reflexologists mainly use the clients’ hands and feet for treatment by pressing, squeezing or cleansing certain troubled areas. It is believed that they are assisting the increase of energy flow to those distressed body parts.

Structural Integration
The body needs to be as close to structural alignment (properly stacked) as possible to function efficiently. By using specific hand techniques, patience and a reasonable (8/10) client’s pain threshold a practitioner can position the tissues back to where they should be, resulting in an easier, pain free movement.

Aromatherapy
Natural occurring frequency from flowers, herbs, and fruit which help balance the body’s system (immune, digestive, nervous, etc…)

Qi Gong
Loosely interpreted as; “Gathering of life energy”, it is a practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and meditation. A practitioner will use Qi Gong as an adjunct to their everyday techniques to enhance the therapeutic process.

Neuromuscular Therapy
Bodywork technique by using stationary pressure on strained muscles/tissue to break up scar tissue that has been built due to injury and intern to increase the threshold of pain/pressure. This technique usually is accompanied by stretches to help recalibrate the muscles and repair the tissues in an elongated state.

Chakra Balancing
Chakras are considered “wheel of light” which is running through the body from front to back or back to front. There are 7 main chakras which run on the midline of the body, each corresponding to a color, vibration, frequency, affirmation, food, fragrance, yoga poses, semi precious stones, crystals, etc… Balancing requires the therapist to make sure the chakras are relating with each other. Ones that are not moving efficiently the therapist will use any of the above mentioned tools to help balance them.
